IELTS is accepted by universities, professional bodies and immigration authorities in Canada, the UK, Australia and beyond. Academic and General Training share the same listening and speaking papers but differ in reading and writing, so the first thing we do is confirm which version your destination requires — sitting the wrong one is an expensive mistake.

How we work on each paper

  • Listening — map, form and matching questions, plus spelling and number accuracy, which quietly cost more marks than comprehension.
  • Reading — True/False/Not Given, headings and summary completion, with a strict per-passage time budget.
  • Writing Task 1 — data description for Academic, letter conventions for General Training.
  • Writing Task 2 — argument structure, cohesion and lexical range, corrected against the four band descriptors.
  • Speaking — the three parts, with fluency, pronunciation and idea development practised on recordings.

Feedback that moves your band

Generic corrections rarely raise a band. Every writing task you submit comes back with an estimated score for each of the four criteria and a single priority fix for the next attempt, so improvement is deliberate rather than accidental.

Academic or General Training?

Academic is normally required for university admission and many professional registrations. General Training is used for Canadian permanent residence, work and secondary education. Your tutor confirms the right version against your target institution or immigration stream in the first session.

Scheduling and tuition

  • One-to-one and small-group IELTS classes online.
  • Intensive tracks for candidates with a booked test date.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions students ask us

How long does it take to improve my IELTS band by 1.0?+

For most candidates a full band takes roughly three months of consistent weekly classes plus daily independent practice. Improvements of 0.5 are often possible in six to eight weeks with focused work on writing and speaking.

Are mock tests included?+

Yes. Programs include timed full mock tests with marked writing and reviewed speaking recordings.

Can I take IELTS classes from outside Canada?+

Yes. Classes are live online and we teach students in Nigeria, Canada, the United States and elsewhere, with tuition in NGN, CAD or USD.
